Carol joined the Lifecycle team in 2013. Prior, she worked as a registered nurse in hospital and public health settings, and as an obstetric nurse in hospital and birth center settings. She also worked as a midwife in various practices. Carol served as the Clinical Director for both the Penn Nursing Network and Drexel University.
Carol very simply states that she became a midwife because she “had the very good fortune to learn that it is my calling in life.”
At Lifecycle, Carol feels that she can “really practice midwifery. Lifecycle is a community of like-minded people who are all working together toward the common goal of holding clients and their families up so that they can find their best paths forward to health.”
Outside of work, Carol finds tranquility and satisfaction in gardening and in mindfully living from the land. She is active in her church, especially providing outreach to vulnerable populations, and is “completely gobsmacked with love” for her two grandsons who live in Seattle.
